Let me give you the short version.
First, a stress-induced health condition made me realize that life is short. Very short. You can read more about my experience with that here.
Secondly, a Gary Chapman conference made me realize that marriage is about shared goals and working as a single unit (not two complimentary ones).
Finally, after moving all over the state of Alabama to chase my career the past four years, we decided it was time to give Brian a shot at chasing his. His hour-and-a-half commute wasn't doing anybody any favors.
So that's the very abbreviated story. This blog will run the gamut - from the mundane and funny to the deep - and I hope you enjoy reading along.
